Julie Grisham is a science and medical writer who specializes in oncology, genetics, neuroscience, and molecular biology. B.A. in genetics and developmental biology, Northwestern University; M.S. in science journalism, Boston University.


Stavana Strutz

Historian & Secretary

Stavana Strutz is a science communication program coordinator for the Gulf Coast Carbon Center at The University of Texas. She specializes in science communication via radio, blogging, public talks, and teaching. She holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from UT Austin where she studied the effects of climate change on a newly emerging disease in the U.S.


Emily Moskal

Emily Moskal is a science writer who specializes in environmental reporting and communications. She has a bachelor's in ecology, evolution, and behavior from the University of Texas at Austin with graduate study in environmental communications, Duke University.


Liz Kruesi

Liz Kruesi is an award-winning science writer and editor who specializes in astronomy and physics. She is a contributing editor with Astronomy, and she has a bachelor's in physics from Lawrence University and graduate study in astrophysics from Iowa State University.
